Waitlist Denver says all standard 2026 rebates are claimed. It keeps a waiting list and re-issues expired vouchers by email.
| Administered by | City and County of Denver, Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency |
|---|---|
| Level | City (Colorado) |
| Amount | $675 for a standard e-bike in 2026 (can pair with the $225 state discount for $900 total, capped at 80% of the bike price before sales tax). Adaptive: $625 standard, $1,175 enhanced. |
| Who qualifies | Live in the City and County of Denver and be 16+. Standard vouchers have a 2026 income cap: household income at or below Denver's area median (for example $100,800 for 1 person, $144,000 for 4). Brick-and-mortar purchase only, no online orders. No full-suspension mountain e-bikes. Adaptive rebates have no income cap but need a professional's written verification. |
| Window or dates | 2026 standard vouchers all claimed. No further release dates were listed on the page. |
| How to claim | Standard: join the waiting list through the city's Submittable portal when the city opens it. Adaptive: email EBikeRebates@denvergov.org for the separate application. Vouchers are used at participating bike shops within 45 days of approval. |
| Stacking with other programs | Can combine with the Colorado $225 tax-credit discount. The Colorado Energy Office page says the state income-qualified rebate cannot be combined with a Denver voucher on one e-bike. |
| Watch out for | Check Denver's page for any new release or waiting-list update. |
